Master garden creative, Jandee Jones, is here to spark your inspiration on how to bring some unexpected whimsy and joy to your garden.  Jandee is a long time avid gardener who has created an amazing garden at her own residence (featured in several local Garden Tours), and also has consulted others in garden design. 

Jandee has a knack for making even small spaces feel special and reflect the personality of its owners and she will share her ideas on everything from layout, planting (she'll walk you through specific plants she recommends to achieve the look that reflects you) and even practical things like best practices for pathway design and irrigation. In addition to sharing her plant expertise, Jandee has a fun hands on craft to build a garden totem from salvaged vintage pieces! 

Jandee is providing an fun array of vintage finds and you'll be able to choose your own items and come away with own garden showpiece.  You'll never view the thrift shop the same!

WHO'S INVITED: Anyone ages 13+ (If you want to accompany a child younger than 13, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!)

TEACHER: Jandee Jones grew up on farm here in Pleasant Grove, Utah and the old adage "Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without," was really a key part of her family culture.  As a classically trained ballerina she has always been a seeker and lover of beautiful things and its second nature for her view life through the creative lens.  With long experience in hand crafting and sewing  and a love of all things vintage and old has lead Jandee to experiment and perfect all types of repurposing projects.  She loves the idea of giving something a new life and there is something so charming about seeing things presented in an unexpected way.  Jandee has been been a featured contributor on KSL Studio 5 and along with her husband, Jordan, (a fine art painter whose work you can see at www.jordanjonesart.com) has been carefully curating a home and garden full of unexpected whimsy and fun repurposed projects!  With long experience as an instructor she can't wait to keep share her knowledge and keep you entertained for a night of creativity and fun.  She is not an avid social media user, but you can see a few of her projects on her instagram accounts  @fancifulcharm and @jandeejo) 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Due to the nature of the prep work required for in-person events, we do not offer refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can send us an email with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
