Hi there! We're Aaron & Melissa Wood and we're so glad you're here!

We were both raised in Alpine as kids, got married in college, then moved to Texas for 14 years and started our family there. In 2019 we moved back to Alpine to be closer to our families, both of which moved here in the early 1990's. It feels so good being back home!

We purchased the building in late 2021 & spent the next year renovating every square inch.

We share the building with Aaron's dental practice, Mountainville Dental. Melissa has a background in art and graphic design so she is THRILLED to host art workshops here.

 

This building has lived many lives as a hamburger stand, then pizza parlor, a bakery, a salon, VHS movie rentals, and a preschool. We love hearing the many stories of this special place from friends and neighbors. We feel truly privileged breathing new life back into it after years of vacancy.

 

We’re excited to create a community & business workshop space here in our hometown. 

We both remember riding our bikes here as kids & would spend lots of time across the street at Peppermint Place (now the Purple Mattress Factory). We are thrilled to have found the perfect spot for our businesses, and it's just few blocks from our home!
