We’re excited to launch a new series at The Workshop where we learn together from professionals, creatives, and everyone in between. We love highlighting the incredible talent in our community, and each "Shop Talk" session will feature instruction during the first half of class, followed by a Q&A moderated by founder, Melissa Wood. Join us for light snacks, great conversation, and an evening designed to inspire.
Your stories matter—and documenting them doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Jill Broadbent leads this learning-focused class, we’ll explore why memory keeping is so meaningful and walk through a variety of modern approaches to help you find a method that genuinely fits your personality and lifestyle. Whether you want to be artsy and creative, or simply tell your stories, the right option is available to you. With a simple quiz, practical visuals, and clear takeaways, you’ll leave with a personalized plan for capturing your stories in a way that feels doable & authentic to you.

COST: $20 or sign up with a pal and get 2 tickets for $30
WHO'S INVITED: Anyone ages 13+
If you want to accompany a child younger than 13, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!
TEACHER: Jill Broadbent has been part of the memory-keeping industry for over 25 years. An avid scrapbooker and lifelong storyteller, she’s passionate about helping people document their stories. As the Creative Producer for Studio 5, she both shared project ideas and inspiration while also collaborating with talented makers, showcasing fresh ideas, and connecting with creative women across countless art-forms. She loves diving into new skills, exploring creative trends, and teaching others how to create simply for the joy of it all!
