Hands-on Workshop
Come get crafty with paper mâché! Jill Broadbent will walk you through how to mix paper mâché using everyday materials... Even simple bathroom tissue. Then dive right into the fun as you decorate a pre-formed, fully dried little chick Easter basket. We’ll sand, paint, and embellish each one to create a charming decor piece that fits your style. Whimsical or realistic, bold or pastel—you choose the colors and direction. The result is an Easter decoration that is festive, handcrafted, and FUN!
Each participant will receive a formed and dried paper-mâché basket. Class time will be sanding, painting and decorating the basket, going home with a finished piece.
DATE: Tuesday evening, March 24th
TIME: 6:30 - 8:30pm
COST: $50 ($5 off when you sign up with a pal. (Contact info@alpineworkshop.co for group pricing))
WHO'S INVITED: Anyone ages 12+
If you want to accompany a child younger than 12, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!
TEACHER: Jill Broadbent has been part of the memory-keeping industry for over 25 years. An avid scrapbooker and lifelong storyteller, she’s passionate about helping people document their stories. As the Creative Producer for Studio 5, she both shared project ideas and
inspiration while also collaborating with talented makers, showcasing fresh ideas, and connecting with creative women across countless art-forms. She loves diving into new skills, exploring creative trends, and teaching others how to create simply for the joy of it
