Spice up your date night—literally!

Join me for a globe-trotting rice & curry adventure across Asia, all without leaving the kitchen (or needing a passport). We’ll taste, compare, and lovingly judge different rice varieties, talk curry history, and then dive into the star of the night: Japanese curry—comfort food so good it should probably have its own national holiday.

I lived in Japan, taught this class last year, and yes… I’m still obsessed enough to do it again. Expect big laughs, warm bowls, and zero pressure (except the kind you put on the rice cooker). Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone who believes curry counts as a love language.

DATE: Friday evening, February 13th

TIME: 6:30 - 8:30pm

COST: $65 for individual ticket & $35 for each additional ticket to encourage you to sign up with a significant other, friend, co-worker, family member, or anyone who wants to learn (hands-on!) to create this delicious cuisine with you!

WHO'S INVITED: Anyone age 12+ (If you want to accompany a child younger than 12, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!)

TEACHER: Kristi Collins feels grateful to have lived around the world. When she travels (49 countries and counting!) she loves taking cooking classes to learn regional cuisine. The opportunity to live in Asia provided her opportunities to develop friendships with incredible professional and home chefs!  Kristi believes the best way to experience the beauty and culture of a country is through food! 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Due to the nature of the prep work required for in-person events, we do not offer refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can send us an email with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
