If you're looking to simplify your dahlia patch while boosting your bloom yield, pot tubers are pure magic! By growing cuttings or tubers inside 6 inch pots buried right beneath the soil, these dahlias produce full, stunning plants all season long while keeping their tuber roots neatly compact. When harvest comes, there is no strenuous digging required. They lift right out of the ground with minimal effort, saving precious time and water.

Ann has been successfully growing dahlias as pot tubers for their last five growing seasons. This method is ideal for taking cuttings and gives many more stalks & flowers the next growing season. Their pot tubers range in size from 3-8 viable tubers per clump. These also grew full size, normal plants this past season that were easy to manage in the field. It's a perfect solution for farms and individuals who want to reduce labor b/c they simply pull right out of the ground with minimal effort! Incredible! She is currently growing 1050 dahlias in 12- 30 ft rows this season!

TEACHER: Ann Bailey from Bailey's Blooms has a flower farm nestled in Utah County between Utah Lake and the majestic Wasatch Mountains in Lehi, Utah. Bailey's Blooms is a licensed Nursery through Utah State Agriculture. They've lived on their small 11-acre farm in Lehi, Utah for 30 years, growing luscious green alfalfa, mesmerizing dahlias, and many beautiful cut flowers and fillers.

Ann's passion is "Spreading Sunshine" by gifting flower arrangements to businesses and individuals throughout different communities. She sells her dahlia tubers, pot tuber clumps, seeds, and cuttings to support her love of giving to others to lift their spirits and make them smile. She has been growing dahlias for thirteen years now and has been selling cut flowers, tubers, and cuttings for 5 years, selling these gorgeous dahlias by the stem to local florists & wedding designers alike.

Ann's farm grows over 400 different varieties and all classifications and forms of dahlias, with 1,050 growing on the farm just this year!?! She enjoys belonging to the Utah Dahlia Society and the Utah Cut Flower Farmers Association, as well as volunteering to spread the love of dahlias by teaching others through classes at Thanksgiving Point's Ashton Gardens and free classes through the Utah Dahlia Society. She also enjoys holding free floral arranging classes for youth groups, hosting adult floral arranging classes, and holding "You-Picks" with stringent sanitation practices between cuts.

Most of her proceeds go to help and lift others. They uniquely grow their dahlias exclusively as pot tubers on the farm, a method that minimizes space, water, and labor; requiring no digging and little dividing at the end of the season.
