Hands-On Workshop
Come learn how to make pie without the tin! Yes, it is possible!
In this class we will be making "free-form pies." Galette, pop-tarts, turn-overs, braided pastry, homemade vs store bought pie dough (yes there is a good store option!), we will talk about it all. These pies are just as good as "regular pies" if not better, and so much easier. Bring a quarter size sheet pan, or flat platter with sides because you'll be making your own braided pastry to take home and bake.
DATE: Thursday evening, February 19th
TIME: 6:30 - 8:30pm
COST: $50 ($5 off when you bring a friend! Enter: PAL at checkout)
WHO'S INVITED: Anyone age 12+ (If you want to accompany a child younger than 12, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!)
TEACHER: Katie Sparks Dayton, Alpine native, resident chicken lady, and pie maker, kouign-amann creator, and baker extraordinaire.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Due to the nature of the prep work required for in-person events, we do not offer refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can send us an email with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
