Hands-on Workshop

This class is a hands on creating experience where the teacher Jandee Jones (a passionate repurposer) will provide all the materials and tools needed with easy instructions and tips to create these one of a kind creations. These make adorable Christmas Ornaments and seasonal displays. Also it's a great way to get experience with an activity you can then easily replicate with your family!

This class patterned after a tradition Jandee began with her own children several years ago, as a fun thing to do over the holidays with a lot of excess walnuts they had from their walnut tree. Through some real trial an error she learned some helpful "do's and don'ts" to make the activity a winner and now its one her family enjoys every year. Jandee is an avid gardner and hiker and enjoys sourcing all the materials for the class all season round. These are foraged items from her own backyard and the mountain trails nearby.

WHO'S INVITED: Anyone ages 10+ (If you want to accompany a child younger than 10, let us know! If you're there to supervise, that works for us!)

TEACHER: Jandee Jones grew up on farm here in Pleasant Grove, Utah and the old adage "Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without," was really a key part of her family culture.  As a classically trained ballerina she has always been a seeker and lover of beautiful things and its second nature for her view life through the creative lens.  With long experience in hand crafting and sewing  and a love of all things vintage and old has lead Jandee to experiment and perfect all types of repurposing projects.  She loves the idea of giving something a new life and there is something so charming about seeing things presented in an unexpected way.  Jandee has been been a featured contributor on KSL Studio 5 and along with her husband, Jordan, (a fine art painter whose work you can see at www.jordanjonesart.com) has been carefully curating a home and garden full of unexpected whimsy and fun repurposed projects!  With long experience as an instructor she can't wait to keep share her knowledge and keep you entertained for a night of creativity and fun.  She is not an avid social media user, but you can see a few of her projects on her instagram accounts  @fancifulcharm and @jandeejo) 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Due to the nature of the prep work required for in-person events, we do not offer refunds once a workshop has been purchased. However, if you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you can send us an email with the name of the person to whom we should transfer the ticket.
