All About Bulbs Workshop with Carlyn Thompson

Hold on. Are you saying we could get an early spring? You could wait out the winter like normal people or you could start your own spring season earlier than everyone else. Did you know you can grow bulbs in winter too?

In the All About Bulbs workshop we will learn about several different varieties of winter bulbs and how to get the best and most vibrant spring blooms. (Hint: it actually starts in the fall!) We will dive into the fundamentals of planting, care, and best performing varieties of fall and winter bulbs. During the class you’ll also be able to plant your own bulbs to take home to enjoy during the winter!

INSTRUCTOR: Flower Farmer, Carlyn Thompson from Wild Willow Gardens (instagram:@wildwillowgardens, website: wildwillowgardens.com) Carlyn and her husband started growing a large garden in 2018 with a small section for edible flowers. Those plants were the best part of the garden and since then they have been growing cut flowers. They now have a budding flower farm in Springville UT that grows fresh cut flowers throughout the whole year. Carlyn loves teaching; sharing with others how to connect meaningfully with nature and bring more colors and blooms into their own homes.
