Springtime Floral Centerpiece Workshop with Anna Kendall
Celebrate May Day with us! In this class, we will cover the basic mechanics and techniques of floral design by making a low centerpiece arrangement. All blooms will be Springtime flowers, many of which grow locally here in Utah and some can even be foraged right from your yard.
We will focus on making a flower-heavy statement piece with a light and airy structure. The first half of class will be a demo and instruction from Anna, followed by each attendee making their own floral centerpiece. Each student will receive a small compote vase to take their creations home in along with beautiful and locally grown blooms. All supplies are included with this course.
This class is great for beginners as well as those who have taken a floral design class or two but would like to expand their skills to include the latest trends in the floral industry.
DATE: Wednesday, May 1st
TEACHER: Anna Kendall (instagram: @annakendallflorals) is a floral designer located in Alpine, Utah. She comes from a three-generation line of florists, learning flower care and design from the hands of her mother. She has been working in the wedding floral industry professionally since 2019. Anna loves all things creative, and takes her inspiration for her florals from the natural world, aiming to make romantic and whimsical designs full of movement. When she's not caring for breakable blooms, Anna cares for her two breakable children with her husband, and tries to soak up sunshine as much as is humanly possible.
