Seed Starting 101 & Then Some with gardner, Kaylene Wells
- - - - -
In 2000 I quit my job of 20 years to be a stay at home mom. My sweet mother-in-law could see that I needed more to fill my needs, so she signed me up for the Master Gardener course taught at Thanksgiving Point. That led me to take loads of mini classes and I learned that seed starting was my all-time favorite!
My friend and I started teaching in church settings, at a local flower shop, and even in our garages. I did end up going back to work at Thanksgiving Point Garden Greenhouse where I learned even more from their excellent gardening staff and other Master Gardeners. I have a deep love of all flowers but especially annual flowers and vegetables.
