If you want a beautiful spring flower garden, start in the fall!Many cut flowers benefit from overwintering and a slow growing season in cool weather. Come learn how and when to plant, what varieties can handle a fall planting, and how to protect your plants through the winter so you can enjoy an abundance of blooms in the spring.
Local flower farmer Julie Hall will share tips and tricks for successfully growing flowers like ranunculus, anemones, tulips, daffodils, and peonies as well how to protect cold hardy annuals in Utah's unpredictable winters!Julie will provide a helpful handout with her favorite flower varieties & she will have assorted fall bulbs and corms available for purchase at The Workshop.

Julie believes in the power of flowers to create connection, bring joy, spread kindness, and make the world more beautiful. She is a farmer/florist growing fresh cut flowers on 1-acre of land in beautiful Mapleton, UT. She is also the current President of the Utah Flower Market.
