We're so happy to welcome back flower farmer, Julie Hall, from Maple Bloom Flower Farm as she teaches all about Dahlias! 

 

Dahlias are the cut flower queens of the late summer and fall! They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors and add so much beauty to a garden and joy to your life. But they can be tricky to grow in Utah.

 

With a little extra knowledge you can have a much more successful growing experience. Come learn the basics of growing, harvesting and storing dahlias.

TEACHER: Local flower farmer, Julie Hall of Maple Bloom Flower Farm (instagram: @maplebloomflowerfarm) Julie believes in the power of flowers to create connection, cultivate healing, spread kindness, and make the world more beautiful. She has been growing and selling cut flowers on her small family farm in Mapleton, UT for 4 years. She grows over 100 cut flower varieties, and will grow 500+ dahlias this year. Julie is also a Utah Cut Flower Farm Association Certified Grower and currently serves as the President of the Utah Flower Market.
