I am pretty much a tinkerer and an engineer by profession. That doesn’t make me a great baker. But before it was cool to make sourdough bread (pre-covid) I wanted to learn how to make sourdough bread for my wife who is gluten intolerant. I still have a full time job, so I had to learn how to squeeze it in to simple steps. I made lots of bread bricks, and slowly I learned how to consistently make great bread in just a few minutes. It is not fancy. That takes too much time. It is delicious, easy (I think so) and super fun to give away to neighbors and friends.
